Ya [66] reported that resveratrol could inhibit mitochondrial damage in macrophages, reduce mitochondrial DNA transposition to the cytoplasm, and inhibit NLRP3 and NLRP1 inflammasome activation, thereby inhibiting the classic caspase-1-mediated pyroptosis pathway and alleviating renal inflammation-induced damage in mice with progressive IgA nephropathy. Here, NLRP3 is linked to IgA glomerulonephritis.
