Five (71%) of the seven tumours with a CDH1 mutation were classified as CIN-low and frequency of TP53 mutations increased from lower CIN levels to higher ones from 28.5% (CIN-low) to 37.5% (CIN-moderate) and 40% (CIN-substantial) to 47% (CIN-high). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia.
