In mice with EO771 breast cancer receiving the isotype control antibody, exercise induced robust increases in the expression of cytochrome c (post-hoc p = 0.0007), complex I (post-hoc p = 0.0040), complex II (post-hoc p = 0.0007), complex III (post-hoc p = 0.0008), complex IV (post-hoc p<0.0001), complex V (post-hoc p = 0.0035) and COX-IV (post-hoc p = 0.0029), while citrate synthase and complex IV activity were unchanged (Fig 4). This evidence concerns the gene CYCS and breast carcinoma.
