Following up on the initial discovery of RSPO gene fusions in CRC patients, other studies identified additional gene fusions of RSPO2 with PIEZO1, NRIPI and PRR15L and moreover, reported RSPO gene fusions to typically occur in traditional serrated adenoma (TSA) rather than conventional colon tumors [51–54]. The gene discussed is RSPO2; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
