We found that from the round spermatid stage onward the three t-γ-TuRC proteins begin to localize at the centriole adjunct, then also to the nuclear tip, and then finally to the surface of the mitochondria of the late elongating cyst, where they colocalize with γ-tubulin and Mzt1 (Chen et al., 2017; Tovey et al., 2018).
