Upon analysing a panel of six ovarian cancer cell lines in response to PARGi and the PARP inhibitor Olaparib, hereafter PARPi, we discovered that OVSAHO, COV318, COV362 and CAOV3 proliferated in both inhibitors, while Kuramochi and OVCAR3 displayed differential sensitivities; Kuramochi proliferation was suppressed by PARGi, while OVCAR3 proliferation was suppressed by PARPi [26]. The gene discussed is PARP1; the disease is ovarian cancer.
