We performed KEGG analysis on 13 selected genes in DAVID to explore the potential pathway and mechanism that 13 genes may regulate the occurrence and development of PAAD. The result showed 6 significant KEGG pathways for 13 validated genes, including Chemokine signaling pathway, Cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction, Rheumatoid arthritis, Pathways in cancer, Influenza A, and Herpes simplex infection (Table 1). We observed that two genes (GNG7, ADCY1) were meaningfully enriched in the Pathways in Cancer (P = 0.016, Fig. 5) (https://www.kegg.jp/kegg/kegg1.html). The gene discussed is ADCY1; the disease is pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
