Further variables associated with the 28-day mortality rate using the univariate survival Cox regression model (p<0.15) included: age, chronic kidney disease, history of stroke, coronary heart disease, arterial hypertension, obstructive lung disease, history of atrial fibrillation, GFR, Hb, albumin as well as the ECG parameter ST-elevation on admission ECG (S2 Table). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and atrial fibrillation.
