Linear correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between fetuin-B and obesity- and lipid-related (BMI, WHR, FAT%, TG, LAP, and VAI) as well as glucose-related (HbA1c, FBG, 2 h-BG, FIns, 2 h-Ins, and HOMA-IR) (p < 0.05 or p < 0.01) parameters in all subjects, but no correlation was observed between fetuin-B and HDL-C or FFA (Table S1). This evidence concerns the gene FETUB and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
