CYCS and gastric adenocarcinoma: After intervention with bisdemethoxycurcumin, specific indicators of mitochondrial dysfunction were detected in the mitochondria: the reduction in adenosine triphosphate generation, the inner mitochondrial membrane potential, and augmentation of reactive oxygen species production and cytochrome c, indicating that bisdemethoxycurcumin can reduce the growth of gastric adenocarcinoma by inducing mitochondrial dysfunction.
