Given the absence of the β1-AR expression in macrophages, we speculated that the analgesic effect observed in K7M2 osteosarcoma-bearing mice following the repeated treatment with propranolol and SR59230A, was mainly due to a modulation of neuroinflammation (H2O2 release) dependent on β2-and β3-ARs blockade on tibial macrophages. The gene discussed is ADRB1; the disease is osteosarcoma.
