Recently, the 5‐year safety and efficacy outcomes of KEYNOTE‐024 were published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology by Reck et al.14In KEYNOTE‐024, 305 NSCLC patients (previously untreated, PD‐L1 TPS ≥50%, without sensitizing EGFR or ALK mutations) were randomly assigned (1:1) to pembrolizumab or platinum‐based chemotherapy. This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
