An analysis of 40 AML patients demonstrated that copy number alterations with TP53 mutations were associated with trisomy of chromosome 8, gain of chromosome 17 (11.2), 14 (q32.3), 16p (11.2–11.3) and deletion of chromosome 12 (p12.3) [13,117]. Here, TP53 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
