IHC analysis among tissue samples from a Reims hospital cohort further confirms that both TSP-1 and CD47 were found to be overexpressed by cancer cells, as well as tumor-infiltrating mononuclear inflammatory cells in ovarian carcinoma (Figure 2c), thereby corroborating the pattern observed in the Human Protein Atlas web portal (Figure 2b), as well as recent reports on CD47 expression in epithelial OC [31].
