Tumor mutations in the KRAS gene were equally distributed between patients with wild-type PIK3CA tumors and patients with mutated-PIK3CA tumors: An additional KRAS mutation was found in 13/24 (54%) of the mutated-PIK3CA tumors and in 74/129 (57%) of the wild-type PIK3CA tumors (Fisher’s exact test, p = 0.82). This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and neoplasm.
