UBE2M and liver cancer: Overall, our findings provide a novel insight that UBE2M acts as an oncogene via colocalization or binding with MDM2 or RPL11, despite its working with p53 via crosstalk, not binding, while UBE2M depletion exerts anti-proliferative and apoptotic effect in vitro and in vivo as a target molecule for liver cancer therapy (Figure 7F).
