As shown in Fig. 4A, the dual combination of chemokines CCL1/CXCL1 (AUC 1, sensitivity 100%, specificity 100%) CCL1/CXCL10 (AUC 0.999, sensitivity 97%, specificity 100%), CXCL1/CXCL10 (AUC 0.999, sensitivity 100%, specificity 97%) and triple combination of chemokines CCL1/CXCL1/CXCL10 (AUC 1, sensitivity 100%, specificity 100%) showed significant discriminatory power with high AUC, sensitivity and specificity in discriminating confirmed TB from unlikely TB children. This evidence concerns the gene CXCL10 and tuberculosis.
