Given the increase in production of IL‐1β, TNF‐α, IL‐12, IL‐22, and IL‐6 by the expanded inflammatory Ly6C+MHCII+ monocyte population in the tumor following the administration of SL7207, it was hypothesized that monocyte populations may underpin the tumor‐growth inhibition effects of SL7207. This evidence concerns the gene IL22 and neoplasm.
