Genome-wide analyses showed that the amplification or upregulation of additional sex combs like 1 (ASXL1) and hisotone 3 family 3B (H3F3B), deletion or downregulation of CDC73 and transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β) receptor pathway members, and rearrangements of Yes 1 associated transcriptional regulator (YAP1)/mastermind like transcriptional coactivator 2 (MAML2) and IKAROS family zinc finger 2 (IKZF2)/ERBB4 may play a role in the development of ovarian cancer (50). The gene discussed is MAML2; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
