Previous studies reported that DIAPH1 promoted the proliferation of human U87 glioblastoma cells (20), melanoma cells (22), and liver cancer cells (23)in vitro and that DIAPH1 knockdown inhibited growth of U87 malignant glioma cell-derived tumors in nude mice in vivo (20).
