DNM2 and cervical carcinoma: The MYLIP gene, also known as IDOL or MIR, encodes a protein that belongs to the cluster of cytoskeletal proteins and is known to play a role in regulating the motility, migration and adhesion of cells; the inhibition of MYLIP expression has also been shown to promote migration and metastasis of breast and cervical cancer cells (Ni et al., 2020; Zhao et al., 2017).
