INS and type 2 diabetes mellitus: After miR-204 silencing based on a cell-level palmitic acid-induced cell model, the phenomenon of increased apoptosis and decreased insulin secretion in the model group was improved, showing a protective effect on islet β-cells, indicating that miR-204 was a key regulator of islet cell dysfunction in vivo in type 2 diabetes or in vitro in the condition of simulated cell dysfunction induced by palmitoic acid.
