At 7 days, Iba1+/CD68− microglial cells (magenta arrows) were found in the inner retina, while both Iba1+/CD68+ cells (blue arrows) and Iba1−/CD68+ cells (white arrows) were present among the photoreceptor inner and outer segments, and exhibited AF (Figure 4b). Here, CD68 is linked to atrial fibrillation.
