All patients underwent standard-of-care NACT, patients with HER2+ breast cancer received dual anti-HER2 therapy in addition to chemotherapy, and two patients with TNBC received additional olaparib, a PARP1/2 inhibitor, as part of a clinical trial (PARTNER Trial, a randomized, phase II/III trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the addition of olaparib to platinum-based NACT in patients with breast cancer with TNBC and/or germline BRCA1/2 mutations). The gene discussed is ERBB2; the disease is breast carcinoma.
