Initial laboratory tests showed normocytic regenerative anemia (hemoglobin 85 g/dL), thrombocytopenia (54 × 10.9 /L), no signs of hemolysis, no schistocytes, prolonged prothrombin time (25.8 seconds, 35%) and prolonged activated partial thromboplastin time (1.63), low fibrinogen (0.3 g/L), elevated fibrin monomer (>400 μg/mL) and elevated fibrin degradation products (>20 μg/mL). Here, F2 is linked to anemia.
