Similarly, we did not find that the in vitro bacterial DNA–stimulated IFN-γ response among the very rare patients with CVID who had inflammatory complications with an absence of peripheral B cells was significantly different from those with peripheral B cells (mean IFN-γ: 555.6 pg/mL [n = 3] vs. 563.3 pg/mL [n = 4], respectively). This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and common variable immunodeficiency.
