Consistently, ectopic RMRP dramatically increased the level of AKT protein as well as its phosphorylated form in JIMT-1 and BT549 cells (Figure 3E), while knockout or knockdown of RMRP resulted in the significant reduction of AKT and phosphorylated AKT in both breast cancer cell lines (Figure 3F).
