To explore the mechanisms involved in the effects of BAIAP2-AS1 on metastasis capacities of HCC cells, we observed that silence of BAIAP2-AS1 promoted the expression of E-cadherin while suppressing the expression of N-cadherin and vimentin in HepG2 and PLC5 cells (Figure 4(b)). The gene discussed is VIM; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
