In CRC cells, GalCer and LacCer had been reported that characteristically increased in Oxaliplatin-resistant cells and the overexpression of UGCG gene is significantly associated with the decrease in disease-free survival of patients with colorectal cancer, which suggests that glycosylation plays a pivotal role in Oxaliplatin chemosensitivity [36]. Here, UGCG is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
