Oral lichen planus lesions show higher expression levels of inflammatory cytokines, including toll-like receptor/nuclear factor-κB p65, IL-1β, IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α.34 Zhang, et al.35 (2020) reported that i-PRF can reduce the inflammatory response caused by lipopolysaccharides to some extent. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and oral lichen planus.
