More recently, the article entitled “C11orf95-RELA fusions drive oncogenic NF-kappa B signalling in ependymoma” published in Nature in 2015 elaborated upon the genetic underpinnings of a well-known oncogenic pathway (NF-κB; nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells), which was found to exist in two-thirds of supratentorial ependymomas [43]. The gene discussed is ZFTA; the disease is ependymoma.
