Given the tight correlation between neuroinflammatory processes in AD and the accumulation of Aβ, as well as the presence of neurofibrillary tangles [63], we observed that the remarkable amount of retinal Aβ and p-Tau proteins in the retina of 3xTg-AD mice was significantly reduced after anti-TNFSF10 treatment. This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and Alzheimer disease.
