REN and atrial fibrillation: Coronary artery disease patients with reduced LVEF had higher prevalence rate of atrial fibrillation (51% and 33%, p=0.001), higher occurrence rate of worsening renal function (49% and 24%, p<0.001) and mortality (25% and 6%, p<0.001), and lower medication rate of renin-angiotensin blockers (21% and 35%, p<0.05) than those who with preserved LVEF.
