BARD1 (OR: 3.1, 95% CI: 1.3–7.2); CHEK2 (OR: 2.5, 95% CI:1.4–4.6); RAD51D (OR: 2.2, 95% CI: 1.3–3.8); and ATM (OR: 2.1, 95% CI: 1.2–3.6) were classified as moderate risk breast cancer risk genes (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene CHEK2 and breast carcinoma.
