The respiratory parameters bronchopulmonary dysplasia (definition 36 weeks postmenstrual age), therapy with continuous positive airway pressure, therapy with diuretics, therapy with steroids, and the additional neonatal parameters (maximal CRP of infants in the first 72 postnatal hours, maximal Interleukin-6 of infants in the first 72 postnatal hours) showed no significant correlation with gestational age at diagnosis of PPROM (each p > 0.05). Here, CRP is linked to bronchopulmonary dysplasia.
