Compared with the control group, the cells of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells in the overexpression group showed a significant decrease in viability at 48 h and 72 h, indicating that the ability of S100A8/S100A9 to promote the proliferation of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells was weakened after inhibiting PI3K/Akt pathway activation. This evidence concerns the gene S100A8 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
