DPP4 and hepatocellular carcinoma: In addition, the patients who took DPP-4 inhibitors with a cumulative defined daily dose of more than 392 (aHR, 0.33; 95% CI, 0.18–0.58; P < 0.001) and those who took DPP-4 inhibitors for more than 1.49 years (aHR, 0.17; 95% CI, 0.09–0.34; P < 0.001) also had significantly lower risks of HCC compared to those who did not take DPP-4 inhibitors (Table 2).
