Studies of other targeted agents are also complete or underway, including a phase 2 study (TRAM-01, NCT03363217) of the MEK1/2 inhibitor trametinib (the first FDA-approved MEK inhibitor) in patients with progressing/refractory LGG or plexiform neurofibroma with activation of the MAPK pathway (28), and a phase 1/2 study of the BRAF V600 inhibitor dabrafenib in pediatric patients with BRAF V600-mutant relapsed or refractory LGG (Table 1) (19, 29).
