In KRIC, the PBK/TOPK-related differentially genes were enriched not only in cell cycle-related pathways but also in metabolism-related pathways such as “Alcoholism,” “Collecting Duct Acid secretion,” “Bicarbonate Transmembrane Transporter Activity,” and other processes such as “Serine-Type Endopeptidase Activity” which may be associated with the complement system (see in Figure 8(f); for detailed data, see Table S11). This evidence concerns the gene PBK and alcohol drinking.
