METTL3 and acute coronary syndrome: Studies have shown that the expression of macrophage hsa_circ_0,029,589 in acute coronary syndrome is significantly reduced and that the expression and methylation of METTL3 (an m6A MT) are significantly increased; when METTL3 expression is inhibited, the methylation of hsa_circ_0,029,589 decreases, and the expression of hsa_circ_0,029,589 increases.
