TNFRSF11A and viral infectious disease: Finally, for the severe patients, the resulting pathways from the GSEA using the TFs obtained by DoROthEA as input pointed that the DCs are implicated in four biological functions: 1) Inflammatory processes (RANKL/RANK signaling, AGE-RAGE signaling, NOD-like receptor pathway, C-type receptor pathway, Senescence Secretory Phenotype, and Il-17 pathway), 2) Differentiation and maturation (PDGF pathway, IL-4, and Th17 cell differentiation), 3) Response to viral infection (Herpes and Hepatitis B), and 4) homeostasis (cell cycle and TGFß pathway).
