There are several well-known TLR agonists, including triacylated lipopeptides [e.g., Pam3CysSerLys4 (Pam3CSK4) and their derivatives for TLR1/2, poly I:C (synthetic dsRNA) for TLR3, bacterial lipopolysaccharide or Monophosphoryl lipid A for TLR4, bacterial flagellin for TLR5, imiquimod and resiquimod (nucleoside analog) for TLR7/8, and CpG ODN for TLR9, which could be investigated for the utilization as dengue vaccine adjuvants (Duthie et al., 2011; Bidet et al., 2019)]. The gene discussed is TLR4; the disease is dengue disease.
