The CHI3L1 (chitinase-3-like protein 1) level in the CSF was strongly correlated with brain atrophy, and the CSF levels of CXCL1, MMP-9, CCL22, CXCL13, and CXCL10 were correlated with the development of new lesions in T2 MRI. This evidence concerns the gene CXCL10 and Brain atrophy.
