Our findings based on the CYP19A1 variant corroborate the results of a pooled analysis of 4998 endometrial cancer cases and 8285 controls from 10 studies in the Epidemiology of Endometrial Cancer Consortium (26) as well as a study based on 6608 endometrial cancer cases and 37 925 controls from 4 studies (16). This evidence concerns the gene CYP19A1 and endometrial cancer.
