Based on our results, we conclude that the critical pathways which dominantly enriched are associated with metabolism, cell cycle, immune system and based on the survival analysis of the hypoxic genes, we observe that the potential genes associated with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and its progression are STC2, PGK1, P4HA1, HK1, SPIB, ANXA5, SERPINE1, HGF, PFKM, TGFB1, L1CAM, ELK4, EHF, and CDK2. The gene discussed is SPIB; the disease is head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
