At the same time, CD8+ T cells are more highly expressed in low-malignant pancreatic cancer samples, while M2 macrophages are highly expressed in high-malignant samples, which is consistent with the expression of IFI27 and also confirms that IFI27 correlates with pancreatic cancer progression and can serve as a poor prognostic biomarker, providing a novel potential strategy for the early diagnosis and prognosis of pancreatic cancer. The gene discussed is IFI27; the disease is pancreatic neoplasm.
