CASC9 and gastric cancer: One earlier study has revealed the high expression of lncRNA CASC9 in cases with gastric cancer (GC) and even higher expression of it in BGC823/DR and SGC7901/DR cells resistant to paclitaxel or adriamycin, but knocking down lncRNA CASC9 in the drug-resistant cell stains restored the chemical sensitivity of GC cells to paclitaxel and adriamycin in this study [24].
