The selective downregulation of CREB3L3 in obese subcutaneous fat and the negative association between subcutaneous CREB3L3 and body fat mass led us to hypothesize that this downregulation of CREB3L3 in obese subcutaneous fat could contribute to the divergent metabolic profiles of subcutaneous and visceral fat during obesity. This evidence concerns the gene CREB3L3 and Obesity.
