Recently, we found that amplification of chromosome 7 is a key genomic alteration in CRC revolution16,17 and identified eIF5-mimic protein 1 (5MP1)18, phosphoserine phosphatase (PSPH)19, and CRMP5-associated GTPase (CRAG)20 as novel driver genes located on chromosome 7 in CRC. This evidence concerns the gene PSPH and colorectal carcinoma.
