KLK3 and neoplasm: The authors showed that patients with unfavorable surgical pathology were more likely to have higher PSA and PSAD values, cT > 1 and a number of positive cores > 2; however, the study was biased by several limitations including the retrospective and multicenter nature, absence of central pathology review and missed evaluation of maximal percent of cancer involvement or total tumor length; furthermore, the study included patients having PSA values > 10 ng/mL, cT2c, and BPC > 50%, as well [17].
